“In Myanmar, press freedom is limited and there are not many journalists.”

I am interested in the news sector since 2019. In Myanmar, press freedom is limited and there are not many professional reporters. That’s why I undertook media studies to become a journalist.

I wrote my first story during the campaign of the 2020 Myanmar General Election for a local media. I do not own any equipment myself and use the camera provided by my newsroom. It would be great if I had my own equipment so I am working hard on that.

I am the most interested in Photojournalism and to become an independent photojournalist with absolute freedom is the thing I want most in life.

I want to investigate and write about Human Rights violations on ethnic people living in Northern Shan State, even if it’s very hard and dangerous to report there on conflicts between Ethnic Armed Organizations and the Burmese Army.I want to make issues happening around me visible to both the local and global communities and I want to amplify the voices of the residents of Northern Shan State.
